., etc...Instead, so many commentators judge other investors’ investments and posts about them through their own lens of expectation and to be frank, can be quite callous and rude.  

Personally, I'm kind of in the middle...DAP makes a product in 25 pound bags called Plaster Wall Patch (DON'T use true plaster of paris for big reparis because the working time is too short - like 5 min). 

Socialism must contain an element of competition to ensure equal outcomes (beyond equal starvation), and capitalism must contain an element of socialism to ensure continued competition (and therefore equal opportunity).This is the lens I view UBI through.

Probably goes without saying, but USDA loans are owner occupy only, so you would have to live there for a period of time and run your numbers through the lens of a house hack. 

I can't say I'm experience in the NYC market as I haven't bought any property but I have lived here for 10 years so I can comment from the lens of a fellow BP member and aspiring investor.
