I've looked but can't seem to find any way to change the reporting tools' currency from dollars to south african rand (ZAR), for instance.

They generate between 5% and 7% depending on the currency exchange.

Also realize currency fluctuations can add a risk factor.Good luck 

Look into Index Funds, ETF's, Crypto, REITS, whole life insurance policies, and whatever else you can for what resonates with you as to where to put your money. 

If you just pick one or two points in time, you’d be against investing in anything, real estate and crypto included.

It involved the seller selling properties for "real" silver dollars (coins) and hence the sales amount was far "less" in those dollars than if "paper / fiat" currency.   

Gold being one of the earliest currencies in the human civilization, it is funny that there are no standardizations yet ;)BTW I just got a reply from my lender, and they said that the gold has to be essentially liquidated to cash before making it count.
