The baseline now in Denver is having a hot tub, game room/area, house theme, high end finishes, professional photography, etc.

I always marvel at the fit and finish of wood molding on Old homes, particularly stain grade where there was no caulk used to fill in gaps.

We painted, replaced flooring, added countertops, fixtures, and bathroom finishes.

One great example is framing crew comes in....frames up the house, plumbing and electrical crew comes in and does their thing....leaves all their 1/2 finished cokes, Gatorade and beer cans and 1/2 eaten lunches sitting on the framing.   

Many Martis buyers are interested in form over function and the builds can reflect that, with more $ spent on adding square footage and finishes than the details that aren't seen (insulation, ventilation, water management, etc). 

You didn't specifically mention this but I just finished Start with Strategy by Dave Meyer a couple weeks ago and while it's a great book for anyone at any point in their investing journey, I WISH I had read that earlier because it's so helpful.

I'm exploring all options at this point including finishing the home with other builders, as well as selling what has been built (slab and block walls of a single family home 4 bed 3 bath) to another builder or investor.Does anyone have any recommendations on where to look for potential buyers for something like this?

Really hard to hit ratios in places like Illinois where the property taxes are silly.I'm using them for all my holds in eastern tennessee when I finish construction of a rental cabin i'm going to hold.
