The bank won't lend without a proof of income because for all they know, you're going down to the casino to put your $30,000 on double zero just after you close on your new property.

I believe the area I'm looking at (Everett) will see an increase in property values within the next few years due to a new resort/casino "The Encore Boston Harbor" and its close proximity to Downtown Boston (2mi).There are currently 2 family (4bd/2br) homes on the market for 500-600k.

I may as well go try my luck in the casinos, and blow it there.

I was looking at Yuba City, they have the new casino out there so my thoughts are the area could grow some.

Plus some very large mega developments, casinos etc...in the works.

The Sands Bethlehem Casino is bringing major revenue to the Lehigh County where some residents property tax have actually lowered.

I would be buying lots from those that don't want to rebuild up in fountain grove or Silverado wait a year or two then build some spec homes.. probably easily 2X to 3X your cash.. in 36 months or less.you could join me in my development in Rohnert Park right next to the Graton Casino... 45 minute drive to view your investment LOL... we are not suppose to advertise on BP but since the guys above me talked about their deals I thought I would throw a few out.. also Performing first trust deeds are solid for the passive investor... 8 to 12% is possible you can do that with some crowd funders and local hardmoney lenders.. we have a 9% 5 year product that gives you consistent return with out having to get paid off and find that new deal all the time.

I'd rather take my money to Las Vegas, and I've never spent a penny in a casino. 

They make more money collecting insurance premiums then money they spend paying out insurance policies.It's like gambling at the casino.
