Assuming the property is worth much more than they paid for it don’t let them give it to you.

I still expect to get paid as the market is still generally good in Florida.

However you should consider if your loan has a Pre Payment Penalty.

Do you know your clients: what can they truly afford not "pre qual" or "pre approved" for, what are they looking to buy?
