Being wealthy is not just being rich.A person who has a lot of money but no time is not wealthy.A person who has a lot of money but no privacy is not wealthy.A person who has a lot of money but no relationship is not wealthy.A person who has a lot of money but no ambition is not wealthy.Being rich is easy, being wealthy is very challenging.And yes being wealthy is very worthy because to become wealthy, you need to master your life.Money is just a small part of your life.

And location makes a huge difference. in Markets that dont move much in value then door count can be critical but in markets where prices may have 2X to 3X over the last say 15 years door counts are not as critical to net worth . I

Miami is still doing well, Fort Myers is adjusting and has lower real estate than 12 months ago, etc..)My simple thought, for what it is worth, is choose a place to live and not invest in:  choose the location you and your family WANT to live in ( because of the schools, taxes, weather, other family there, etc...) and then buy and do real estate there (and get whatever licenses you need once you start third party management).I wish you well!

Sounds to me like an investor turned down the deal because after finding out the actual payoff, suggesting the numbers are not investor worthy.

I wouldn’t say investing in crypto is necessarily the best, but I think putting up to 5% in net worth is worth it for the upside it could generate. 

We had a couple "we buy ugly houses" type companies come in and offer less than even the lot itself is worth. I

I think his net worth is def in the millions.

Certainly not a problem worthy of paying $11k up front to figure out.
