I haven't figured out a way around outsourcing at the beginning - outside of managing yourself of course and we're a bunch of E-Myth and 4 Hour Workweek geeks about it...lol.

I am hoping to find Lease Options and Subject To Deals by Wendy Patton, The Four Hour Work Week, and How I Turned $1000 into $3 (or 5) million...If anyone has any others they might recommend, I would love to hear your suggestions.

For me it was a clean slate, inspiration to think creatively, and to THINK in general about what I wanted out of life and where I wanted to end up.I put down Napoleon Hill, and picked up books by Henry David Thoreau and took up a new motto: "We are happy in proportion to the things we can do without".I also put down Robert Kiyosaki and started reading Timothy Ferriss-- his book, The Four Hour Work Week is a neo-American-minimalist manifesto.

But it's not as easy as 4 Hour Work Week makes it sound.

A household income of 66k. so two people making 30K a year.If a work week has 40 hours, and there are 50 working weeks in a year.

I love the fact that its not one of those required 80hr work weeks to see six figures.

I'm currently transitioning out of my crazy, 100+hr work week, job to doing locum tenens (temp jobs for docs) and pursuing my broker's license.My short term goals include:1) Not falling back into "employed" medicine for the convenience of it.2) Finding our first flip or wholesale3) making new friends in the REI world, learning as much as I can, and making a new future for myself and my spouse!
