I beleive alot comes from upbringing.

I didn’t have the easiest upbringing in a lot of ways and still affects till this day.

The two (upbringing and education) go hand in hand.

We are all different, in our upbringing, our knowledge, or ethics, etc...I'm glad that you seem to have such a high standard of ethics..we need more individuals with such ethics.

A natural born citizen just doesn't have that same upbringing within the US System and that same core perspective of what is a right and what is a privilege.

Can I just blame my parents for my poor upbringing?

The lender would only consider equity in excess of the 25% for cross collateralization--- it worked out that we had sufficient equity such that we ended up bringing less than 1% of the purhase price of the new props to the table.
