I guess I am just too economically immature to really see the forest for the trees in regard to synthesizing the conflicting views and predictions of various economists, including the Wiedemers who have made many unambiguous and harsh assessments and predictions, Dalio who produced that video and who is a successful hedge fund manager, this professor Fullenkamp I have been reading up on, and Krugman whom I am aligned with politically.

The FHA owner occupancy requirement is unambiguously for 12 months, spelled out on paragraph 6 of your deed of trust.However many local down payment assistance programs require owner occupancy for the life of the loan.

IMHO, converting ÷ into / is a simpler replacement than converting it into "/ (...)".I would also apply a principle I've used with a number of people that if you write something hard to understand it is you, the author, that has screwed up, not your confused readers.OTOH, 48/2*12 is absolutely unambiguous.

I'm pretty sure in CA that the standard CAR disclosure forms specifically asks if repairs were made, so you may be required to (check your disclosure forms carefully).Whether it's smart to do so or not is unambiguous and doesn't matter what state you are in.
