Do not quote me on this but I think someone told me the new fund was a debt fund (along with some other asset classes) and a percentage of the money raised was to invest in their other funds (ie. instead of capital calls). 

You’re going to deduct your tax prep, your internet, your cellphone, your computer, your tablet, your mileage if you’re involved in the properties, your home office, etc etc.

Your property management company can help once you own the property but up until then you need someone good on your side!!! 

I didn't see a need for a holding company but if someone wants one, you can just use another LLC as the holding company.

You really want someone that invests in their market themselves and understands the numbers.

The internet as wonderful as it is has also created a 'wild west' effect that is often unbridled.
