If you are in a very sluggish market, sometimes you have to do what you have to do, but in my market there's no good reason to hold a unit open for people for anything more than 2 weeks.

@Linda Wright - Quick re-visit to the topic of property value - my initial assumption that the property value might have a relatively sluggish growth rate was based on a recommendation from an older colleague...but I realized I have no data to back up the claim.

@Remington Lyman, I almost went with Cincinnati to start with due to the fact that I have a lot of family history in Ripley, about and hour SE, but the growth looked a bit sluggish and crime a bit higher than Columbus.
