Hi there,Recently, we lost an Uncle whose home needs to be sold so the money can be divided among the siblings.

Growing up in a household with 6 siblings and parents working hard to survive living in California I became very observant of what others were doing to make money.

He visited the property on Friday and after discussing over the weekend we decided we were going to put in an offer.However on Sunday tornadoes hit the area and several trees hit the house creating extensive damage.The home and property was inherited by siblings after family passed away and they are wanting to get rid of it. 

AS for structure and if you guys come to terms.. its simple for you siblings to simply be co beneficiaries of the note and mortgage.. 

Or if there are multiple siblings, we ask which ones want which?

You can drive there, a bigger place can hold the whole family including grand parents and sibling families etc and is a good bargain.I think places like Hawaii (fly to) destinations will take a greater hit.

However, if you live in the half that is rented, make sure you are paying market rent and have a lease drawn up to avoid family problems (eg your siblings feeling like they bought a home, so you could have your own place).
