Goal is to recycle the capital and do this again  awesome !

Personally, I am going to buy an all-cash or lightly levered deal towards the back half of the year when I exit a hard money note I've recycled for the last two years.

You could always go with a Kwikset rekey deadbolt option, and recycle the keys.

Will they likely be recycled into a new STR under new ownership?

If used tired are in good condition maybe they are worth $1200 retail otherwise if for example the guy gather's a semi truck load they might be worth $50 as a recyclable. 

The industry found better ways to make pop cans aluminum versus metal, recycling became more common and 35 years later, you don't hear about this anymore.

If the plumbing and fixtures are what they should be, I've found that 100% recycled TP such as Seventh Generation or Whole Foods brand flushes much more easily than the regular brands.
