If you where going to be able to recreate the orginal layout, you would of been able to do so by the clues left behind by remaining framing, be it the "honey" holes where the toliets once where, the sizes of the holes in the joist would indicate what pipes ran where be it hot and cold supply, toliets, showers and other industry standard tell tale clues.

I am all for it though in tourist recreation areas for sure .. 

With several large cities within driving distance 6+ hours - the demand for recreational activities I believe is a safe play without the requirement for airfare.

Rather than recreating the wheel, I would just go to LP centric forums/groups like 506b or PIC group that dont allow GPs or capital raisers so people can post their bad experiences without intimidation.
