I told my tenants I wanted to sell and of course they wanted to prolong their move until July due to the children schooling/hassle of moving.

You want tenants to feel that they can bring issues to you, and not hide them and let them get worse if they are prolonged.

But not sure if tenant would resist and force a prolonged eviction process.  

Another scenario is if we experience another great depression, or prolonged recession. 

I feel as though upon coming back they will frown upon our hiatus, and it will prolong the approval process for a loan.

This option is viable, I figure that it will just prolong the beginning of the investments that I want to do.
