I certainly won't vote for those politicians, just being a bit cautious as my brother ran into a similar issue and it took his property manager 5 months to get the non paying tenant out.  

Many in their 50s have no idea what they want to do when they "Grow Up", we call them elected politicians:) So keep being interested.

What if the politicians are forced to bring down inflation?  

We already get enough bad reps from all these stupid media and politicians who never made hard-working money in their lives.

@John Williams politicians at all levels of government are taking away landlord property rights to protect slum-tenants.We'll soon be like Ontario, Canada where they can't charge application fees or security deposits and it takes 12 months to evict a tenant.Unfortunately, landlords are too cheap to make political donations to stop the madness:(

I didn't do anything to put the sellers in such distress, policy makers , politicians and economists did, but if getting cash for their home is going to solve some of their problems then I will be helping them along the way.  

Unfortunately this is not a strategy that rallies the base for many politicians running for local office, so getting this impemented widespread is easier said than done. 

Politicians will continue to pander to tenants and assault landlord rights until landlords organize and spend money to push landlord agendas.

Seems like every politician screams from the top of every mountain top "WE WANT AFFORDABLE HOUSING"  and then declare, NO!

Unfortunately, they are very unpopular ways on the debate stage and our politicians (and citizens) will not take them on.
