Should I spend money on professional photos?

You gave tenant itemized list at 5 days and have photo documentation of the items.   

The very first day that a tenant is late, a Notice of Default needs to be delivered to the tenant (you need a receipt of delivery; if you hand deliver it, place it in a sealed envelope with their name on it marked 'urgent/confidential' and take a photo of it placed on their door). 

I would look at other people's STR photos for ideas or consult a designer.We bought stuff from Lazyboy and they had a designer on staff to help us pick out stuff.

This is a good way to see old photos, bedroom accounts, utilities, etc.. they may also be able to help u check if it's in a flood zone.

There usually aren't photos of the basements and that's were most of the big ticket issues are.
