In this post type of concern  I ask my circle of influence (bankers, insurance, contractors, fellow storage owners) their perspective on the economy and also their sphere of influence.

I get that.If your not actually in the industry doing transactional bizz every day then I think its very lonely being a rental property investor you have a very limited sphere your working with  IE maybe an agent to acquire and then lender some contractors then either PM or tenants.

I sold 20, 4 were my sphere which yielded 75-25 split.

I do out of state investing but I studied the market over 6 months and spoke to several agents, contractors, Sphere of Influence before jumped in.

I agree that the sphere of influence created by going through the degree process and meeting all sorts of folks related to it could be huge for opening doors that may or may not be missed without it.
