Hi @Akintunde AboabaIf you want to reduce your risk of difficult tenants, choose a province with fair landlord-tenant laws, like Alberta, and not BC.

Financing can be expensive and difficult to find.  

If private companies continue to provide the insurance, I suspect we will see further increased premium costs which will need to be reflected in the rents tenants pay (all tenants: LTR, MTR, STR).  

As others have mentioned, Vancouver is very expensive and difficult to find cashflow. 

I'm wondering about any potential regulations that might make this a more difficult process than I'm anticipating.
