The person (the housewife) who engaged me in the negotiation does not really speak English.

I had a house, wife and 2 kids by the end and a family business to come back and run.

Just a data point I dont think women are like 50s house wifes anymore ( my mother) the home chores are shared a lot more..

Nice $300k+ house, wife drove some sports car while he drove this old oldsmobile.

The middle segment is what I prefer to use; typically small crews or single guys, great quality, zero marketing and despite that they do a top job, they don't know how to handle spoiled housewifes in expensive subdivisions ;-)They work for builders, but are often under a lot of pressure on price and quality - best way to find them is in new subdivsions.

After you have told the right person your first deal will literally fall in your lap and your biggest problem will be are you ready to act.I recruited  a house wife in Palmdale, Ca. that I have been talking to for a few weeks.  

They could have easily bought a house, wife also had a high paying job and there income exceeded mine.Another tenant was a CPA/Comptroller for a medium sized corporation, with a name you'd probably recognize, they also rented from me for 7 years. 

One day I was sleeping and he and another possible tenant walked into the living room.This landlord refused to give me the deposit the day I move out of Michigan and said he was busying so I told him I will drive to his office to pick up the check and his house wife suddenly show up with check.They are very satisfied for me staying there and he told me to keep electricity for extra few days until the new tenant moved in.
