I'm going to Brazil on my honeymoon in August so I'll just miss it.  

I've had a busy couple of years with a wedding, honeymoon, child birth, and several moves.  

@Jenet Christiansen  well then if what your saying  is true we will go back to the 70s 80s and 90s were if you wanted to be in real estate and make money with limited funds you became an agent.. the honeymoon period is over.and most the folks that think they are going to get on BP and find deals an do RE are just dreaming..

Hopefully we get to enjoy the "honeymoon" for sometime before the upkeep starts!

I'm in a similar situation, as I just began my foray into REI after spending a 3 month honeymoon reading, writing, and soaking up every introductory nugget of knowledge on the subject.

So far this December appears to be the highest monthly gross I’ve had booked for my Smokies honeymoon cabin.

As for investor performance one needs to look at 24 to 36 months and see how they are doing for that period of time first year is honey moon period its after that were the rubber meets the road..

Just like any relationship in the beginning honeymoons are bliss but divorces can turn nasty .....

Neither document should mention the other, and no credit for rent should be used towards the down payment.With a land contract, wrap, or whatever you want to call what your friend is doing, it's all honeymoon until something goes sideways.  

Although we had the best of intentions; wedding planning, our honeymoon, and me being called out of town for my day job for 7 months derailed our plans.
