I have an STR and previously did not allow pets on our property out of fear that they would destroy it. 

Fear about staying in DST though, as it sounds they will treat remaining DST investors worse than those in the REIT.

That is their fear, that this won't work.

Most guests are suspicious of these deposits and fear they won't get them back, so it can dampen your bookings.  

@Benjamin YingNo one thing or person can give you confidence to overcome the fears of buying an investment.

I personally have not experienced any government change that has ruined a deal for me.But fear not!

While your lease may indicate that the tenant pays, the biggest problem with this is that tenants will stop reporting issues for fear of paying.

My fear is the lender calling the loan due because I wouldn't have the cash available to pay it off.I don’t know of many cases where a lender would allow an assumption let alone a “subject to “ situation.
