The manufacturers of Traditional Self-Storage Buildings (Trachte, Betco, Janus, Mako, USC, etc.) also build portable units that can be delivered already assembled, or erected on-site.  

The lowest bid I've had on the project is around $16,500 for the concrete and garage erection. 

As long as you can erect hurdles that make it harder for someone to decide to sue, that's really the bottom line.  

The buildings we are erecting now, were ordered in March. 

Prices for erected buildings have gone up about 40%in the last 1 ½ years.Steel prices-talked with my neighbor who is a Project Manager for a Steel supplierand with an Owner of a Steel Company, who I have done business withfor 10 years.

It is embedded in our minds that starting construction on a fresh plot and erecting a new property will be a costly option.

It involves REAL land, and REAL structures erected on the land that are subject to the laws of nature.

By 1968, KB Home was erecting single-family homes in nearly three dozen new master-planned communities in or near Chicago, Detroit, Southern California and Northern California.

Buildings 10 x15 or 10 x 20 equivalents are running around $4,000 erected.
