@Carlos Lez, I would let them know that the room was not disturbed during the showing so that the issue must have occurred after the showing and that they should file a police report.

Will it have access without disturbing who lives in the main house?

@Kumar Paj as you already know most of Du Page county clerks are not very helpful ( at least from my experience ) they behave like you disturbing their own personal time.

Has the electrical, plumbing, or HVAC been disturbed in the work that's been done - or will you need to get into it to complete the work?

If you do not have such language you should have language that limits disturbing noise.

You cannot relocate or even disturb them.
