Health care beeing the prime example: the american for-profit health care system looks like an unbelievably rigged pyramid scheme designed to extract money from the population - this is so clear when you have the comparison to other countries.

Also worth considering who is your labor force, is there a required assembler, is there a certification your GC needs to have this be Warrantied, consider the cost of rigging/hoisting, scaffolding, etc.

My feeling is, if I wanted a house that backed to a park that is what I bought, and if other people wanted a house on a road, they should buy one and not destroy the neighborhood to put in yet another “luxury” cookie cutter house.I feel the same way about homes that are perfectly wonderful and function beautifully with separate rooms that have tons of character.

In the cookie cutter markets (cheap markets with active sales and decent appreciation) you can get into a fixer upper for 60k - 90k. 

Yes they are practically giving away these cookie cutters new construction for low prices.
