Do I give up access to transportation, restaurants, cultural activities, doctors, emergency medical care, religious and business activities, vet care and maybe more, to live in the country on my ranch or on the beach in a beautiful country, or do I keep access to all those things and live in the city?

It's cultural actually LOLback in early 2000 before all these ADU becomes a trend, some part of the city in San Jose is already congested becayse many houses are already having too many ADU, converted rooms, rent by room and so on and so on.

If you go modern make sure it is unique.The interesting part of modern is a large percentage of renters come from demographics with  different cultural backgrounds than our family's.

You must know the culture and the understand the community you want to serve.

They simply dont understand the culture of the rental class in the mid west the LIfe long renter..  

There is something in American culture that makes us believe anything on TV or with a flashy enough veneer must be worthwhile.

Also things like culture fit, company goals, etc.

Many though, struggle to understand our market and the US culture of tenants.At the first negative issue, many panic and either want to sell or terminate us:(It can be done, but depends on your team and YOUR management of the manager.

It’s a strong market but there’s also a lot of gang problems and cultural tension in some areas.
