Signed up to Cleveland Clinic's internal housing office last year and paid the $300 fee per property for the year - did 3 properties. 

I'm sure you can find decent pockets in Mesa or Tempe, but it won't be as easy as in the West valley.As far as areas go, the safest answer is anywhere near a Mayo Clinic.

I do know that Cleveland is enjoying an economic revival based on healthcare (Cleveland clinic regional hub), but long-term, I don't know what that will translate into population-wise. 

Jeremy, you are doing what I wanted to do when I was stationed @ NATTC Branch Clinic as the LPO (USN). 

I had learned how to sell options, how to remodel my house, how  to day trade, how to start a self directed ira, I started a Physical Therapy clinic, mined bitcoin, made a few websites, I think I may have even learned how to raise chickens/honeybees/ and grow organic vegetables. 

Now it's highHouses close to the Lake county are rented higher than $1K, also depends on finishes - sometimes 3-4bed/1.5-2bath rented for $1300-1400/mo.It's close to I-90 which is good for everyone who works in downtown, Cleveland Clinic etcPOS is not so bad, at least for the city - it's getting back to life after recession.
