Usually these rarified and chosen locals do not permanently go down in value, as rich folks collectively seek to protect their interests.

In my experiences, I have chosen to lease my own properties, but did have a PM for about 18 months or so, at one point.  

It would allow Airbnb to screw both hosts and guests (assuming airbnb is the ota chosen).  

It also attracts "influencers" who are likely shilling crypto and only fans as well as gator lending! 

The underlying assets were Broadway plays, crypto, masterminds, defunct brand names, etc??

I wouldn’t say investing in crypto is necessarily the best, but I think putting up to 5% in net worth is worth it for the upside it could generate.

But if they wanted less control in investments---go the route of equities, fixed income like tbills or CDs, mortgage notes syndicators, REITs, possibly RE syndicators but do your diligence especially now, and even crypto cause that's an investment with little control.
