My husband and I are in the process of buying our first property, a residential 4bd, 1 ba house in the Catskills in NY. 

I m sure you know that our area commands more rent than all the other states you mention. you can look in Connecticut, Rockland, West chester, New Jersey or Pennsylvania you can look for Airbnb properties in the Catskills or the Poconos.

I currently own a coop apartment in Brooklyn and a cabin in the Catskills that I cashflow through AirBnB rentals. 

I grew up in Hudson and currently live just across the bridge in Catskill.

In June 2018, we had a unexpected opportunity to purchase an Airbnb rental property in the Catskills. 

As for the area, I'm in Catskill (about 25 minutes or so from Windham/Hunter), and I think it can be a profitable place to invest for STR.

There's a lot going on in the Catskills.

She is from near Syracuse and I am from Catskill, although I was born in Mineola.

I am looking at an inn that sits within walking distance to a big lake in a nice area in NY state, Catskills. 

Does anyone have bodular home / cabin builders in the new york stats area of the catskills or south.thanks,Justin
