What ways are acceptable for you to settle disputes (Mediation, arbitration, court, etc)7.

And if your policies don't specify arbitration before legal action then they should.

@Greg Deane see if they have been in arbitration yet, if no you can assume that is a good probability that could happen if that does it would prevent you from selling, or only cash offers. 

I don’t think I would ever collect the damages awarded through arbitration (which is what our contract requires to resolve billing disputes).  

Should we just go 50/50 and use arbitration for disagreements?
