It really all depends on the situation.I personally do not like so many GL codes in COA.If I am working on a client who has 250+ GL codes and another client with 50 GL Codes, the cost will be very different.A lot of the times it is overkill with those GL Codes.

Pops of gray are fine but gray floors, gray cabinets, gray walls, etc. are overkill. 

They are good but maybe overkill. 

I struggled with this in the beginning a lot because I don't self-manage any of our properties so a lot of things that these other softwares provide were overkill and provided way more than I needed.

I have a brand new house with a year of builder warranty, and so full property management might be overkill at this point.

FollowUpBoss is a great system specialized for real estate agents but may be overkill.
