There are some lenders who have NO seasoning period and you can power ball out of a loan the next day if you wish.

I am an American citizen living in Greece, looking to invest in the US. 

For example - nobody's quite sure what will happen with Greece and portugal (unstable, recession end date unknown), and are mostly certain the USA will someday bounce back (normally stable, temporarily recessed but with high recovery potential).

I initially got started back in march when I came back from Greece.

I travel quite extensively and have settled in for an Oregon beach house instead of one in Portugal, Norway,  Greece or elsewhere.   

Before that I had shortlisted Greece, however I ended up visiting Georgia 4 times in 1 year and feeling that the market is developing very quickly.

I am not planning to go back to Greece anymore to retire, given the rapidly worsening state of warming there.
