well if I ever make it to the Smokies to see what the draw is  I will rent a condo then :)  I am just guess but I suspect folks that go there want to be in the woods and hear the birds and maybe some local mtn views etc.. or some sort of privacy they never get at home out east were there is not very much public lands close to where they live in the big city. ????

What I will say is I would make sure you ask them how much they will finance.

Fact is, I had some assets but not enough money to invest from a position of strength.

My issue with that is I would have to liquidate before I would like to.

My point here is I don't know how they guarantee a deal but that is an interesting proposition.  

The guy is is in the Navy and invests in Land.

Where another issue arrises is I recently quit my job after becoming pregnant as they would not cover my maternity while overseas, my husband is employed however he works for a UK company and is British so would be unlikely to help us with the situation in the US.

One thing I am doing this year in line with buying real estate without my own money is I am partnering with money partners on deals.

They also like to acquire MHP with higher vacancy/ vacant pads (not sure what the industry standard is). I
