As long as your trip is primarily for your rental activity, you can add a ­vacation to the end of the trip, make a side trip purely for fun, or even enjoy evenings doing vacation activates, and still deduct your entire airfare, rental car, or standard mileage rate if using your own car.

This includes:Travel Expenses (airfare, hotel, car rental expenses) for trips in which you are researching or looking at property to purchase.  

Register, purchase your tickets, airfare and hotel and you will learn more from the speakers than any guru will ever tell you.

Personally I think Vegas is a great location...lots of hotel rooms, cheap airfare to get here, plenty of conference space, etc.Please let me know if I can help in any way.

Some insurance carriers you need to purchase specific limits ($2K, $5K, etc) and others will pay for all reasonable & necessary ALE expenses (above your normal expenses) up to a year.The airfare would not be reimbursable.
