I've been house hacking in CO for several years and I have an auto renewing month-to-month lease (which I got from someone who house hacked in CO for years before myself) and that has worked just fine.

Which also BTW the auto industry and some politicians fought tooth and nail.

Talked to local, moderately sized credit union that my auto loans are through that I have a great relationship with.

My contract is an Annual, auto renewing contract paid at an hourly rate.

@larry @Larry K.yep, I used to live in NYC but after 10 years of living in the East Village and Brooklyn I was ready for a new lifestyle.

When I rented, it cost about as much to have renters insurance as not, because my insurance company would bundle my autos and renters.
