Ill make this as short as possible.....I have an elder family member who does not want to own a house, she wants to rent from my wife and I as we are trying to grow our portfolio.I currently do not have enough $$ to just go out and do traditional financing to place her.However, she was recently approved for an FHA loan.

Thanks That's incorrect, based off my general understanding of landlord tenant laws. usually, local laws stipulate that occupancy for more than several weeks, personal items in residence, and/or receiving mail at the residence establish tenancy.
