I’m in agreement on the cost Seg, but to my knowledge, you must do it in the year of acquisition to get the bonus depreciation available from the 2017 tax law.

If you Google NAR Certifications and Designations, you can see what training Realtors can sign up for after getting their license --- these are topics not covered in the pre-licensure course.Still, the course doesn't teach the "mechanics of the transaction..." at least not that I recallSo, to learn the business, especially in your market, you are going to have to either speak with some agents and/or actually buy and sell some properties --- yeah the latter part can get expensive.As mentioned, there are plenty of posts about the merits or demerits of getting your license.
