also, i should have never paid him the second installment which puts me at about 40k with him and there has MAYBE only been about 15-20K in actual work completed by him. so do i ask for an agreement on the cost of work that has been done and ask for a certain amount of money back so we don't Have to go to court?

My company matches dollar for dollar my 401k contributions up to 4% of my salary. 4% of 60,000 is 2,400So if I contribute 2,400 my company adds in another 2,400 to put me at 4,800.
