Be careful of FHA 203K loan, the list of qualified contractors are skatchy, they know that once you have that 203k you can not use anyone but them, they can take advance of you, use cheap materials and cut corners, just saying be careful.

I'm not sure doubling the rehab budget is a good idea....you can price yourself out of a lot of profitable homes that way trying to buy it too cheap.

Hi Ty,You've got to be very careful there aren't 1st lien positions on the properties, in most cases there are and you could wind up buying a HOA lien for cheap and then owing far more than that.
