You usually have the same issues as nearby Lewiston and Auburn with aged housing with deferred maintenance leading to costly repairs and updates.

For me the big problem was that it was smack in the middle of Student Housing rental season , which here at the University of Toledo is February through May.

The other side of the duplex is an identical unit but it is not ready to rent yet.The best tenant prospect at this time are 3 young men who are recent university grads and will be on the lease for $900 per month total for one side of the duplex.

Right now the market around the university is great as far as SFH with MFH hard to come by unless you have money to convert a SFH.
