The rental market in SLT is incredibly hot right now.

The responses from everyone here are pretty much right on do you research for the area, you know anywhere within 2 hours of New York City can be lucrative check out the Poconos also it's a hot area and you get summer and winter rentals same as the Catskills . make sure whatever you buy allows short-term rentals otherwise you're at the mercy of your neighbors telling on you.

The markets hot in 2020 and any areas that look cheap are cheap for a reason.

@Lisa Alexander You should continue your search (perhaps broaden the area that you're searching in) and scrutinize/analyze the deals you find as best you can, interest rates continue to hover near all time lows which is great for buyers though the market is still hot and prices reflect that.
