So we should be ok, but we're still very much in the "unknown" phase right now but it's certainly a little better than last week when I cried just about every single day because of all the unknowns that were still at play.Here's a little "before" picture.

My electrician is recommending that we rewire the entire house bc the existing wiring is copper but does not have a ground (built in 1968). 

They did have the panel grounded and some of the wires they used have a ground but most don’t.

We divided the lot and are building two new ground up vacation homes right on the water.

Any input from someone who has feet on the ground would be greatly appreciated.

Also, AU Gold through Lloyd's is the preferred carrier if you have ground up construction or demolition.

I can be the boots on the ground, have time after hours and weekends to make this work.
