Like @Tom Sylvesterwas saying once you are proficient in an area then you can work on mastering another.If a good deal for another technique comes up you have a few options like passing the lead on to another investor and they will likely pay you a small fee if they convert (Yet another reason to get out and network), find this investor and offer to partner/JV on the deal and give up a chunk for the hands on education, or you can hit cram mode and try to learn as much as fast as you can and maybe be able to pull it off and of course last option is let it die on the vine since you aren't equipped to do it.

I've seen cables lying on the ground outside, dishes mounted on roofs improperly, and no customer education on the equipment.

Our lease does not permit the tenant to affix anything to the building without our written permission; and then we require it be done by one of our "sanctioned" service providers.The first time we renovate a property after acquisition, we install conduit (with a pull) for the various service providers to the basement or equipment room/closet.

The equipment was moved in the night before the inspection and the electrician waited all day on the inspector.

I work for a German company that manufactures equipment and consumables for hospitals, research facilities, labs, etc.

Of course, if I were needing to haul around lots of equipment on a weekly basis, I might then go for a pickup or van as well.Regardless of the fact that I own a fairly efficient vehicle, biking is still the better option and the main reason why my auto transportation costs are low.

Here in my market, all rental units are equip with your standard appliances and because this seems to be the norm here, I don't believe that a landlord in my area would be able to get away with not supplying appliances unless there was a steep discount on the price.
