Most of the owners are repairing machines themselves, collecting coins themselves, or otherwise not paying them selves for their time.

Recently, the dryer coin machine got jammed and now the replacement accepts only $2.

But, you can use data to talk yourself into or out of any investment.  7/11's are not going to be replaced by online soda machines.

Two units are Vacant right now.They have laundry machines on site that bring in an average of $300 a month (or so the P&L sheet claims)If i brought all units to market rent, and 100% occupied, it would top out at $14,000 monthly rents. 

But what's new is 1) my housing vending machine approach 2) the international reach 3) the ability to sync calendars and book out 6 months solid 4) no collection issues  etc  

I called the current company that owns them and they said they get $10/machine (I assume per month) and then everything after that is 50/50.If my math is correct, and all provided info is correct as well, that would mean I would collect around $340 every three months.

There was a bunch of deferred maintenance issues, but nothing major (broken doors, knobs, coin op laundry machines, and other simple stuff).

There are so many things you can do to stand out.... cereal dispenser, gumball machine, milkshake maker, waffle bar, arcades, the options can be endless!

It could be that driving for dollars is the exception and not the rule, but it seems that many people have had success, hence the creation of things like the deal machine app.
