I am sure that buying a duplex or triplex could be a better financial decision but we also don't want to share walls like we have been at current duty station (I know I can't have it both ways).

Or, I'll have tenants meet me halfway at gas station, supermarket etc..

It's useful to understand that both in real estate and in life pretty much everybody is tuned to the WIIFM (what's in it for me) station.  

I am planning to buy multi-family house that closes to Train station.

Would I need a real estate attorney to discuss the opening of a possible LLC in Atlanta or can I get one from my home city of NYC, or where I currently am stationed in Yuma, AZ?

But if you want to educate the masses then put together a blog that the masses have access to or get a spot on a public radio station & discuss it.

If not I'm pretty sure all PBS shows are available online.And of course most of that money is going to the (corporate) media, not the local stations as you might think.

I know that I have been doing Hard Money Loans in Gary, Hammond, Lake Station, and East Chicago all in Indiana for about 7 years now.

Maybe start a relief fund for the locals and other military personnel stationed there?

Build up enough quasi-evidence about the dealers and document your dealings with the landlord then send your "documentary" to a small time local news station when nothing else is going on in the city.
