But if you are looking specifically to target the Yellowstone visitors, you may want to look into moving closer to Yellowstone, like Island Park or even Driggs/Victor for the Tetons and Jackson.My wife has helped other STR buyers to find properties in these locations that work well there.

There's less seasonality in the Mystic area or you can go even farther east close to the Rhode Island border due to the ocean beaches right over the border.

I am a licensed realtor in Massachusetts and Rhode Island and I have wholesaled deals in both states and have never had an issue. 

@Michele Fischer  I say that lovingly.. my wife is from Puget Island/Cathlamet  and sold RE in Longview for better part of 15 years.. and that's what she calls it..

I am super partial, lol, but I believe that Fort Walton Beach/Okaloosa Island on the Gulf Coast of Florida is your best deal.
