Most big empires in history have had multiple cycles of crisis that looked alike but every new one was a bit deeper and more sinister, until they crashed and burned.

That being said its just the cost of doing business right now until things change for the next cycle (mortgage or political). 

Although time will always heal a bad purchase, it will rob you of good opportunities and growth.That's my 0.02 on buying in this current cycle.

Heavy duty, quick cycles.

When the hedge funds start dumping real estate, it wil be a blood bath once again.It is Just another cycle in the real estate investment business.

We are in a part of the economic cycle where the markets are changing.

I think we see an influx in selling due to many many "would-be" sellers now realizing the fact that they missed the top of this cycle and will shuffle to try to get out quick while prices are still relatively high for recent years.

Every single seasoned investor like myself started with zero experience and you only get it from starting.That said, starting right now in this new real estate cycle poses massive additional risks to a rookie.

We are in a bit of a down turn in the economic cycle and several markets are seeing asset devaluation, while others are in the beginning stages of cooling off.

That's okay though, cycles come around every 10 or 12 years or so.
