However you may have limited time to make a claim.

Unless you claim that you are moving due to being closer to work, better area, better schools, etc. hopefully that makes sense!

@Naveen Desai you've got some good comments above and just to add one item - as long as your are still claiming your income on your US tax returns you are fine to get a standard, conventional loan. 

If a tenant fell, broke their neck or a limb and sued for medical bills and lost time from work, etc., it could easily be above and beyond your umbrella policy.

I am a medical sales rep and real estate investor in Maryland.

I believe in giving him a break since he has a family and we’re all going through tough times hoping he would redeem himself when things got better but he doesn’t seem like I can trust his words.Is there any general advice anyone can give to solve this problem more amicably or would I have to end up in small claims court to recoup all lost rents ?
