My region offers several homes within your desired price range and our rental market is very strong.

I am looking for a contractor/Project Manager to manage rehabs in the Detroit region. 

It would be helpful if there were separate forums based on Region or state.

Those moves will put them on notice you are for real and do your homework.However, not sure what LA is like now, but in my region things are off the charts so most of the good contractors and subs are swamped.

If it's a local to regional bank that owns the loan they might look at that option but if a national bank generally not for single notes.With the short sale he would have debt forgiveness issues as well.
