Beside looking at the credit score, what do you think of a person with medical bills going to collection and they simply not planning to pay back ?

I have had 6 rental houses, but only rented them out to medical students, nursing students, etc.

It does get pretty rough quickly the further West you go tho.45405 - Dayton (North East of Grandview Medical) - Very rough but so bloody close to Dayton.

Individually we should have no problems securing a loan as we all make nice incomes being in the medical field as W2 employees.  

Usually what they get is a slap on the hand, cease and desist order, might be barred fro obtaining a license for awhile, might get a small fine.

This may include medical insurance, health, life, and medical expense reimbursement.

You may want to check out some of the case law where a parent has attempted to sue children for reimbursement of what are determined to be NECESSARY expenses (such as education or medical).I would strongly urge you to discuss your "plan" with a competent attorney to see if it would fly in Illinois.
